PATERSON, NJ – An early morning crash at the intersection of 17th Avenue and McLean Boulevard left three people with serious injuries Wednesday.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora, at approximately 4:51 a.m. a 2019 Kia Forte being operated by a 20-year-old male from Paterson collided head on with a 2016 Honda Accord, being operated by a 63-year-old male from Fair Lawn. Both drivers, as well as a 22-year-old male from Paterson in the Kia Forte were transported to Saint Joseph’s University Hospital for treatment.
A third vehicle, a 2010 Ford Escape, being operated by a 57-year-old female from Hawthorne, then collided with the Honda Accord, and then the guardrail. The female was also transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center where she was treated for minor injuries and released.
