Paterson Charter Uses Overtime to Hand JFK Knights First Loss of Season

PATERSON, NJ – Paterson Charter handed the JFK Knights their first loss of the season in a 54-51 overtime win on Tuesday.

Down by four at halftime, the Knights seemed to regroup going on a massive 19-6 run in the third quarter, only to see Charter match that by besting their opponents 17-9 in the fourth quarter, and setting up the eventual three-point victory during added time.

Ricardo Jones led the Knights with 12 points while Jae-Wuan Abrams and Yasen Crawford both contributed nine points.

Michael Ferguson, buoyed by Asim Jones’ 11 points, six rebounds, and four assists, carried the eventual victors with 19 points and 11 rebounds on the scorecard.
