Paterson Man Charged with Attempted Murder in January Shooting

PATERSON, NJ – A 21-year-old Paterson man faces up to 20 years in New Jersey State Prison on the most serious charge of Attempted Murder for his role in a January 29 shooting that took place in the area of 9th Avenue and Madison Avenue.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora, an investigation by the Paterson Police Department, in conjunction with the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, into the incident which left a 31-year-old Paterson man injured, led to the Friday arrest of Roshane James,

James has also been charged with Unlawful Possession of a Handgun, and Possession of a Handgun for an Unlawful Purpose.
